Hospice is a concept of care. Unlike curative plans of treatment, hospice care provides effective symptom management and pain control (palliation), along with emotional and spiritual support for both the patient and family.
Hospice care is for people who have a life expectancy of six months or less and have chosen to focus on palliative care, comfort, and relief from pain and symptoms.

Diagnoses commonly associated with hospice care are cancer and other end-stage illness such as:

  • Cardiovascular Disease
  • Alzheimer’s Disease
  • Respiratory Disease
  • Liver/Renal Disease
  • Pulmonary Disease

  • Adult Failure to Thrive
  • Neurological Disease

No one is denied service because of age, race, color, creed, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, disability, diagnosis or the ability to pay.
